Donating to Pakistan Families.
Here are some tip on making decisions on where and how to donate.
Last night instead of sleeping I was wondering . . . how many people in the Swat Valley know how to swim? . . . where are the family pets? . . . how much more can farmers take? . . . could I have survived such a disaster? . . . could I have saved my children? . . .

I realized how strong the people of the flood zones in Pakistan have to be to survive and carry on. Without our donations they will not be able to survive though because their bodies will be dehydrated and they will starve.
France24 has just announced that 6 000 000 people need food and clean water; also they announced that approximately 20 000 000 people have been affected. And John Holmes, Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator has just told France24 that donations are needed immediately in order to get food, water and medical supplies to everyone in need.
The United Nations has said 3.5 million children in Pakistan’s flood zones are at risk of catching water-borne diseases. (August 17, 2010)
Now that you have an idea of how urgent is the situation here are some suggested ways to donate money to help the families of Pakistan who have been devastated by the flood.
